Traineeships aren't as widely familiar as Apprenticeships, so the purpose of this week's blog is to tell you a little more about them!
A Traineeship is a work placement programme. Traineeships are designed to prepare you for the world of work by giving you a leg up to help work towards an apprenticeship or new job role. If you are aged 16-24 and looking to gain valuable work experience, you can apply for a Traineeship.
At NEMA, we offer traineeships with a duration of 6 weeks to 6 months depending on the employer offering the work experience. We currently offer Traineeships in Beauty, Business Administration, Construction, Rail and Care.
A Traineeship can also be very useful for an employer! If you are looking to get ahead of your competition, a traineeship could be the right solution. They allow you to take on an enthusiastic, young individual who can bring lots of fresh ideas to the company, at no monetary cost to your business! All traineeships are covered by Government funding.
