How are you celebrating Pride this year?
With June being Pride month, we thought of some ways to help workplaces be more inclusive.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people are constantly having to 'come out' to people and they can face instant discrimination or micro-aggressions when they do. Some choose to keep their true identity hidden in fear and play along 'being straight'.
To instantly make your workplace LGBTQ+ inclusive:
By just doing these simple things, it will make LGBTQ+ a lot more comfortable in the workplace and will ease the stress that playing 'straight' brings. Therefore, you will also improve mental health and productivity in the workplace.
